Unanswered topicks

Hi all.
I was thinking about this and i thought to share it with you to see what do you think.
I think it would be good if we would be able to display unanswered topicks either in the listbox where we choose which board to read and also i think it would be good when we click on somebody's profile to be able to see if they have got any unanswered topicks.
So what do you think of that?
The only think that might be a problem is that a lot of jokes or topicks in the writers blog might be unanswered but it would be good for geeks r us topick, games etc.

i think it is a good idea nikos. save going through the topics with new posts, or the latist topics.

it simply could be called "view unansered topics" i can see how this would come in handy, it would make it easier for people to respond to questions and such

so, these are topics with 1 post, only? or maybe one poster? Other thing is that a lot of posts on the news board would show on this list.

Maybe as well as being able to see all unanswered posts we could also view the unanswered posts for each category so if people don't want to see news or jokes they can choose what they want.
I would consider unanswered posts with one post in it or sometimes the same person might post again to add something. But most of the times they have got one one post in them i think.

you could exclude certain boards like the joke boarde, and other boards where this may not be the case.

Not sure about this one. Maybe I'm just in a grumpy mood <lol>.

It seems to me that this would encourage bringing up of old ancient topics, or it would make it easier for them to show up on the list and people would reply to them, not realizing that they are two or three years old.

However, how about this instead, on the headings for the table that shows board posts such as topic title, number of posts etc. what if these were sortable so we could sort on posts and go to the bottom of the list to see any topics with 1 post.

Just a thought.

maybe there can be a topic filter such as message filter or something else?
